Description
|
General form.
Body faintly granulate.
|
Color.
Light brown to reddish brown..
|
Female.
Head. Vertex smooth; first antennal flagellomere about 2.3 times the length of the pedicel.
Thorax. Pronotum smooth, the margins subparallel or slightly basally expanded; mesonotum about 1.7 times
the length of the pronotum, the lateral margins tuberculate in the anterior two-thirds, and the disc with a row of small
tubercles on each side of the midline in the anterior two-thirds.
Abdomen. Tergites II-IX bicarinate, X obtusely unicarinate.
Subgenital plate reaching almost to the apex of abdominal segment X, scoop-like, basally with a Λ-shaped carina,
then a shallow median sulcus running towards the acutely rounded apex.
Wings. Tegmina and wings represented by small triangular lobes at the posterolateral angles of the meso-
and metanota.

Male.
Thorax. Mesonotum about 2.0 times the length of the pronotum.
Abdomen Segments VIII-X broader than the preceding.
Subgenital plate faintly carinate medially; vomer large, broad, apex rounded, the lateral margins swollen and rounded.

Geographic distribution.
Apparently restricted to eastern Jamaica.
