Description
Color.  Greenish yellow.
Male.  Head with a moderately large right tubercle, the left one much reduced; behind them is a row of four small granules. Pronotum glabrous, except for a few very small granules; mesonotum with 10-12 black tuberculate spines. Mesosternum with four short black spines and a few scattered granules; metasternum glabrous. Mesopleurae granulate; metapleurae bearing a white stripe. Abdominal tegite VIII dilated distally, X emarginate apically. Subgenital plate with the apex slightly emarginate. Cerci large, thick, straight. Legs elongate; lower median carina of anterior femora with three spines, the basal one very small; lower median carina of middle and posterior femora with five spines; lower lateral carina of the tibiae faintly serrate distally; posterior first tarsomere a longer than the next three together. Tegmina yellow in color with green stripes; wings fully developed, reaching to abdominal segment VI, anterior area yellow with green stripes, posterior area a very light rose color.

Geographic distribution.  Hispaniola.
Type.
A male. St. Dom. 55.1. [ BMNH ]
Systematic notes.  I have examined two males, but only made measurements on one.
